Care Instructions
Gold & Silver plated jewelry is a great option when you’re looking for an accessory or gift that doesn’t break your bank. Gold & Silver plating is a thin layer of gold is placed on to coat the surface (which in our case is brass). The jewelry has the same appearance as a gold jewel but at a lower price.
The gold/silver layer will slowly fade over time and the brass will be exposed. This is a natural process of a plated item and is not a product defect.
It’s easy to keep the luster of your golden/silver studs, hoops, pendants, rings and necklaces. As it’s covered with a thin layer make sure to take extra care to make your jewelry live longer. Do not spray perfume, hairspray, body lotion or face mists while wearing your Jewelery. Take them of and put them back on when your skin or hair is dry again. Substances like oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine, perfume or swear may react with metal/plated jewelry which may make it tarnish easily.
Make sure to remove your jewelry when showering, washing your hands and also when swimming.
Clean your jewlery with a cotton roll to remove any dust and dirt after use.
